Business Development Representative at Tru Optik Data Corp

The entry-level BDR will be responsible for identifying and promoting Tru Optik solutions to prospective customers. You will receive inquiries with the goal of qualifying the inquiries and converting them into opportunities. The candidate will be a self-starter and posses a strong entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation and solid business development experience.

 

Duties

 Prospect new accounts using both phone and internet communications to effectively communicate the value of Tru Optik’s solution offerings

  Make outbound calls to decision-makers in a variety of businesses, across multiple market segments, and convert them into qualified sales leads to be pursued by field sales

  Gather and maintain accurate prospective client information and maintain CRM database updates

  Successfully achieve assigned daily, weekly and monthly goals

  Assure personal credibility/respect through product knowledge, sales skills, and the ability to meet your job responsibilities

  Participate in department training activities

Required Experience

  Bachelors degree

  Previous experience in online advertising or SaaS sales highly desired

  Superior consultative questioning and listening ability

  Strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to identify/define and solve needs/problems

  Novice-to-intermediate level technical expertise

  Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and CRM

  Passion for uncovering prospects’ pain and acumen to work as a partner to sell value

  Self motivated

  Hands-on, can-do mentality

  Preferred experience in working in a high-growth, start-up-like culture
